@p11 I don't have as much experience with Spanish people so I can't speak to that, but Spanish women do tend to be more fit than the aforementioned.
I think it's a mix of genetics and culture defining beauty standards.

Does this also apply to Hispanics who live in Spain? If not, there would be a simple explanation, that you prefer fat women if you are poor/hungry.
