Damn seeing how much content that was removed from this game...
• Changes story cels to be less risque
• altered and removed concept art
• removed guest art
• removed the Soviet announcer
• removed any symbols vaguely resemble hateful groups which in turn is censoring lore
And the list goes on, wtf were they thinking? I put around 150 hours in what was initially a love letter to fighting games like Darkstalkers, MvC, Guilty Gear, ect just for it to now be handled by stupid people?

@rodscorpion It got taken over by the likes of Sonicfox and other "Progressive" folks who think games shouldn't be triggering to some people who feel uncomfortable with said imagery. This company was always going to cave into its loudest whales.

@Dakotastomp96 Yeah... Thing is he's always been a part of Skullgirls since the beginning. If you have access to the old endless beta version of Skullgirls you'll see in the training stage the chalkboard has "DeFox School" written on it due to the fact that SonicFox and some other guy would make videos or something teaching people how to play Skullgirls. He's also one of the main backers of Keep Skullgirls Growing too, so I guess the writing was on the wall since the start...

@Dakotastomp96 well it's also gonna lose the other people who backed Keep Skullgirls Growing I know that for sure. Also censoring a 10+ year old game is just stupid to begin with like the fuck, does Future Club think most normal people would respond to that positively?

@rodscorpion Probably a Ton of newbs jumped into the game thinking it's going to be safe and pure but complained about unwanted fanservice bs and they took that to heart to "do better" instead of just being themselves. If they don't like the way it was, they could just kick rocks. Nope, they got to feel coddled because they matter more than the creators original vision.

@Dakotastomp96 @rodscorpion I hate it when new people start playing a game and don't like it so they demand some aspect of it to be changed. Just play a different fucking game. It's like me demanding Dark Souls getting faster and introducing a combo system with an announcer yelling "SAVAGE!" when I hit a bunch of enemies while switching weapons.
Obviously this isn't gameplay oriented but it carries the same spirit.
