can anyone help me remember the name of this game?
it was an old macintosh game, could have been elsewhere but that's where i played it.
it's just monochrome, i think. it's 2d and i think from a top-down perspective. it's a simple dungeon exploration game where you have to find keys to progress to the next area. i don't remember there being any sound but maybe we didn't have the right hardware for it.
it's definitely from before the year 2000, most likely from the late 80s or early 90s if i had to guess.
I have taken this to the r/ClassicMacGaming subreddit to see if anyone knows about it there. Hoping!

it is Adventure on the Atari 2600.
no idea why i was playing it on a Macintosh but i know for a fact we never had an Atari.
i'm actually surprised i forgot about this one, because it's quite notable for containing the first ever easter egg.
@monsterislandcolonizer unfortunately not that one. i don't think it operated on a tile system, but i could be wrong.
