Rift Apart has an anti-aliasing mode called DLAA that actually just uses DLSS without the change in resolution. Just resolves edges, basically. It's really good. I'm super impressed with it. This is the kind of thing I've been waiting for ever since MSAA stopped being standard, because stuff like TAA/SMAA/FXAA is pretty bad. The difference between them and DLAA is night and day. It looks practically like no AA does, but with smoother edges.
@Septemberboi in a nutshell, anti-aliasing options lately have been more focused on performance than edge quality. It often results in blur or edge shimmering. DLAA doesn't have that, it's a lot more reminiscent of classic MSAA but it is done with AI using NVIDIA-specific hardware on the graphics card.
