@beardalaxy Unstoppable. I wouldn't mind some games, like Smash or Mario Kart, to be rolling release instead of having to remake the game every time. Nowadays it's not like we're missing out on improved graphics.

@rasterman some people were complaining about mk8's dlc, saying they wished we just got a new game instead.

meanwhile i'm sittin here like... $25 for 48 tracks? literally double the amount that's in the game right now? and we're getting new characters on top of that? how can anybody complain?

the game is already so fuckin good, easily the best mario kart imo. i will certainly take more of a good thing rather than risk getting a new thing that isn't as good.

@beardalaxy Yeah, imagine they make a new Mario Kart now. People would be reasonable to expect it to have every feature MK8 had; but it doesn't sound realistic, knowing what we expect.

A new Smash? Will everyone be there? Can we go back to not having Snake in the game? Will Nintendo negotiate with every one once again for a new Smash? Why not make it rolling release and charge for new content like they already did?

Or the way they knee-capped Mario Maker 2. A game with infinite content for players and creators that people watch. If instead of free updates, they had paid DLC, they could keep the game alive and relevant while also making a profit, which I'm guessing the lack thereof is why they killed the game after one year.

@Rasterman @beardalaxy To be fair, I'm slightly relieved they stopped with the new Smash Ultimate characters before they did something REALLY stupid, like adding Tracer or a Soyny character. Sora being the dumbest character added isn't that bad overall.

@beardalaxy @Rasterman I used to hate Steve in Smash, but I've kinda changed my mind about him. He is super unique and creative, and some of his alts aren't even that hideous.

Sora is just such a fucking faggot with a shit design - I can't understand how people give Rex shit for his design when Sora exists. Also, the way Squeenix handled putting the Kingdom Hearts games on the Switch was disgusting.

i'll agree that the kh games being streaming only though is fucking retarded, the switch can definitely run those things.

@beardalaxy @Rasterman I haven't followed competitive Smash much the last year, but I do know that Steve is the best character in the game, and broken (fuck all those faggots who spent so much time whining about Pyra/Mythra, who's not even a top 3 character). That said, Sora is also boring as hell to watch most of the time, and Sonic is more cancerous than either of them (I hope Sonix forever ruins his hands and is forced to retire).

KH3 being streaming-only is understandable I guess. I'm sure the Switch could handled a downgraded port (it handled the likes of No Man Sky, Witcher 3, Nier Automata and the current gen Doom games fine), but I can forgive Squeenix taking the easy route (and KH3 apparently isn't very good anyway).
