horror plot idea: a rural farming town where all the scarecrows come to life and begin hunting down people because they have gained knowledge that someone in the town is going to sell the farmland and convince everyone else to sell theirs as well. it takes a while for the main character(s) to figure this out but once they do they kill the seller themselves and the scarecrows all return to no longer being sentient.
@freeusspeechus lol sure xD just darker. the scarecrows would come to life by way of intense cosmic knowledge, not anything like an evil scientist or something. i envision it as being a little ethereal, like these somber creatures that don't want the lands they protect being sold off and the only way they know how to deal with it is to scare, which includes horrific and brutal killings.
My story ideas are about cartoon influenced cars and other vehicles that are alive, they're the only vehicles that exist, and they end up having to live with humans
Also I love the idea of appliances and other machines being alive (I'm weird)
