Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and OoT still have great gameplay even to this day. I used to be a denier of this because it seemed like it was the general sentiment in the early to mid 2010's, but after actually playing the games again they are even better than I remember them being as a kid. I feel like I get something more out of them each time I play them. Very well constructed games and they still have awesome gameplay. It's not that the old gameplay is bad or even outdated. I think that really only applies to perhaps NES games, and sometimes not even then. These are games that are timeless for a reason. I still have more fun playing Mario 3 than I ever would some modern MMO or Battle Royale slop.
