Random question. Anyone know any good MMOs that were shut down that have good private servers? (Games that weren't shut down are also acceptable if the official server has become trash)

I just downloaded a Pangya server and client set, and there's a few pirate servers up.
Might try Tera, too, and FlyFF (fly for fun) is another with private servers out.
Not sure what you're looking for in terms of content.
@fluffy Not so much as content as I'm looking for theme. Mostly looking for anime-style stuff.

@Ronnie21093 @fluffy not crazy into MMOs but there are private servers for phantasy star online blue burst and universe. Haven't ever played universe tbh and only played PSO offline local co-op but it was a lot of fun. You just have to accept that it is still a game from like 2001 or whatever.
If you're looking for something more explicitly "anime" instead of just anime themed then they might not scratch the same itch but I figured I'd throw in the rec anyway.
