female characters can now be rendered in 16x the detail. unfortunately that detail will be used to make them uglier.
@nordtrack i have the feeling it won't have anything to do with graphics. if it does, it'll be useless because art design is ass these days. the best looking games still run at 120fps on a potato and use cel-shading that would be home on the original xbox.
it'll probably be something related to AI if i had to guess. which, tbh, also just contributes to games looking shittier and being devoid of soul.
not a bad guess. they keep trying to push home entertainment tech too. i'd be surprised if it's anything to do with games
