Watched a streamer play SEGA's Time Traveler (arcade game from 1991). I really would love if FMV cutscenes would make a comeback instead of just coding every "cinematic" to be in in-game graphics. Now we can fit so many different cinematics to the games I'd like to see a modern FMV big budget game (no, cinematics don't need to be in 4k).

The games don't even need to be done seriously. Some goofy comedic live action would be so funny! Hire some theater people (not movie actors) and just go to town with it. RTX on? More like makeup on!

@susie personally, when I see live action fmv in a newer game it completely takes me out of the experience. This happened in Hellblade a lot and I hated it. The new Silent Hill demo had it too. I'm just not a fan. I think Remedy does it well when it is supposed to be something that is watched on a TV in-game.
