today in godot learning, i accidentally skipped an entire video on the tutorial and still managed to implement the stuff needed in the next video, plus some extra sauce.

it's been really good so far. super simple for sure, but a great starting point.

the asset pack he uses is something you technically have to pay for i think, but someone recreated it which you can grab here: https://opengameart.org/content/space-shooter-redux

it's not 1:1 but it gets the job done well.
