i think the fact that i had more fun with a cheap wave race game from 2016 than a full, modern remake of a legendary classic really says something about me as a gamer. i think i just prioritize a game being fun to play over anything else.
@beardalaxy Old console games are great "pick up and have fun" games. I remember liking the N64 water scooter game a lot back in the day.
