You know, I never actually finished Tides of Destiny.
I do remember these three being my top three favorites, however :zt_think2:
@Ronnie21093 I remember playing a little bit of that, didn't get far though.
I do remember liking the blacksmith girl too :love:
@VTArgyle I think I finished the first or second dungeon? I don't remember.

I wonder how far PS3 emulation has gotten? I know the game was on the Wii as well, but Wii games are best played with a Wiimote, and I don't have one anymore :doge_laugh:
@Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle You can buy wii motes and IR bars for pretty cheap. They're still in production because of emulation
@Kyonko802 @VTArgyle I know. I just feel like if I'm gonna emulate the game, if PS3 emulation is far enough along, that'd be my preferred option for Tides of Destiny

@Ronnie21093 @Kyonko802 @VTArgyle you can get a usb sensor bar for like $10. i'd highly recommend against getting a 3rd party wiimote since they don't really connect with dolphin very well. they were meant to connect with a wii and they're cheap so they skimp out in some areas dolphin expects.

people are getting rid of their Wiis all the time and you can find them for pretty damn cheap. it might be cheaper to find someone selling a whole ass wii with wiimotes on your local classifieds/fb marketplace versus buying a single wiimote online lol.

but, ps3 emulation has gotten extremely good actually. you'll have to look up on the compatibility wiki for the game you want to play to see how well it runs and what settings you need. the emulator is really good these days though.

@beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle Some third parties are in production with dolphin in mind just like the IR bars but if you want one and not a used on brand wiimote always always ALWAYS read the reviews
@beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle also the IR bars sometimes have a different light level so if you get one and it feels finicky turn the sensitivity up in Dolphins settings

@Kyonko802 @Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle 3rd party wiimotes aren't good pretty much across the board, it's the dolphinbar from mayflash that is good. one stop option if you need bluetooth and a sensor bar for dolphin specifically. i've heard a lot of people have problems with them though so imo it's better to just get a bluetooth adapter if you don't already have one and a USB sensor bar. because yeah you don't really need anything crazy since it's just infrared lights xD people use fucking candles, i used to use to well-spaced lights on the ceiling to navigate the wii menu xD

@beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle I thought that decent third parties only needed passthrough to work. The one I used last time I played the trauma center series worked fine :hyperconfused:

Something to do with regular bluetooth only spoofing the connection so it doesn't recognize a third party controller, but if you have the wii firmware passthrough it connects because it's pretty much a wii.

@Kyonko802 @Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle ohhh yeah i forgot about the passthrough stuff, i never had a bt adapter that worked with it.

@beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 @VTArgyle I got a compatible bluetooth because I wanted to play Red Steel 2 :kekw:
