@SirShawn devil's advocate, the alternative is that corporations just continue to abuse people despite having more money than they know what to do with. Better economy would obviously help too but even if inflation magically reversed I don't see any company being like "jk our prices are lower again!" like, what do you even do in the situation we're in?

I know a lot of people suggest price caps on housing and stuff too. Idk if that's the same thing necessarily but it seems along the same line of thought.

There's gotta be a good way to go about it.
