considering blocking the nostr relays based on the fact the service by its very nature prevents any kind of moderation which means scams, CSAM and whatever else are literally uncontrollable on the platform (its literally the design)

im not okay with pedos or scam artists picking up their keys and moving to another nostr "node" and continuing on. you shouldnt be either

edit to add clarification: my admins and jannies (and our users) shouldn't have to moderate content from nostr all day long. my jannies and admins shouldn't have to field CSAM reports multiple times a day. NOBODY should be subject to that

@graf if someone wants to view nostr posts and get into that network they can always make an account. i think fedi ought to be separate.

@graf yeah i don't really think it's worth keeping around. just treat nostr as its own "instance" sort of and say you block it but if someone wants to see posts there they can always make a nostr account or go to an instance that doesn't block it.
