light mode is easier on the eyes because humans are meant to be awake during the day

@feditips when you have an OLED display dark mode not only saves battery life, but it only lights up what needs to be lit up, such as text and photos. Light mode is a good way to burn your screen as well as your eyes

@creamqueen @feditips for your eyes it depends on your ambient light level. I always have my lights on in my room and light mode is nicer to look at because of that.
