@LoliHat how? isn't a short rest like 4 hours? couldn't you use that time to bully monsters if they aren't allowed to attack you?
@rainignterror1080p IIRC, a short rest in 5e used to be 2 hours. Even then it was of minimal use to anyone but a warlock beyond getting some hit points back taking time to strategize in game.

@LoliHat @rainignterror1080p 5e short rest is a minimum of 1 hour. many classes gain little things from it but it is most important for warlocks to get their pact slots back.
