@LoliHat :akko_sus: I'm gonna assume it is a high level spell that requires a full rest to restore :akko_sus:
@Ronnie21093 @LoliHat I would assume that too, but I also know the people involved in designing D&D nowadays are retards. So I got my totally non-pirated version of the book and went to take a look.
It's not exactly "high level", but you need to use a long rest class feature.
Basically they changed Divine Intervention, and instead of "The DM does something that may help you" now the player can cast any 5th level or lower spell instantly and without wasting the slot.
Then you can cast Prayer of Healing instantly, instead of the regular casting time of 10 minutes.

@Suzu @LoliHat @Ronnie21093 all of the new rules are 100% aimed at making players even more OP than they already were and it sucks ass. and they're needlessly changing so much stuff to be more "inclusive" or whatever the fuck. if i weren't in an active campaign i wouldn't play anymore, switching to pathfinder or finishing my own system as soon as this one is done because it's so fucking bad now. at least i can keep using the 5e rules for now but still, this new shit sucks.

@beardalaxy @LoliHat @Ronnie21093 my friend started DMing a campaign for us using Mythras, which is a rebranding of the Runequest 6E ruleset.
It's pretty fun, player characters are more "down to earth" and combat is deadly. But it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

@Suzu @LoliHat @Ronnie21093 seeing as how many d&d players freak out when their character dies like fucking babies i can imagine having more lethal combat wouldn't work well at all. and that's exactly why d&d is the way it is right now, because too many retards got into it and want their characters to be unkillable while also living in a perfect world with no racism and wheelchair accessible dungeons.
