But if you're looking for proof of god(s), look at the behaviour of smarter animals like dolphins and octopus's which violate the theory of evolution. An example is the tendency for certain crabs that inhabit the sea floor to create primitive forms of art with rocks and shells in order to attract a mate. How is such a behaviour to be developed through evolution? It can't be. The only plausible answer for why these unintelligent, unconscious animals are able to perform these rituals is a higher power or order.

TL;DR: There is no non-religious or spiritual explanation for why certain animals exhibit behaviours which cannot be instilled into them through genetics.
