@Ronnie21093 @Meemoo Optimization? Unreal Engine 5 only exists to jerk off graphical prowess and pointless shaders. Epic's development teams have basically given up trying to actually make the games work and force you to use some form of upscaler to run the game.

Besides, they have more important work to do, like making sure their Mariah Carey model is as close to her old face as possible including saggy skin for absolutely no reason related to every model being ripped for porn.
Epic has kinda strong armed the engine into trying to force all their fancy graphical shit now. I'm sure it's possible to start cleaning up, but the engine kinda tries to push it onto you at every turn that you should be using all this random tech they love. Fortnite is, easy to say, the prime example of this. Their own devs can't get this game meant to be able to run on a shitty phone or a dying Switch to actually be stable on a decent computer running at standard settings from 2018. Epic just doesn't care, issues with the engine don't matter anymore so long as they can keep pumping out RTX and DLSS updates with random modeling aspects.
