@JeffGrimesArt @mjdigspigs @Goalkeeper Haven't used them (dating apps) and haven't figured anything out in several years. At the very least we can take solace in the reality that this is a serious and pervasive societal issue that's going to have to be solved sooner than later.

It's likely worse than even that. Even among Millennials. The internet and women's rights, sadly, are driving the beginnings of a mass extinction event.

Only once have I done it after already knowing the girl for like a week (which did work but she stopped dating me because I called something "gay"). All other dates I've been on have either been totally blind, I've had like 4 from tinder total, or they have been with girls I already knew for a substantial amount of time prior. Unless you are Chad McChadson and also happen to get lucky that the girl you are asking on a date is actually single, asking out of the blue is not a legitimate method.
