@MoeBritannica I'm 30 and I've never heard of this shit lol. When I think of "most influential anime of all time" I'm not thinking of anything from or beyond 2006, with the exception of *maybe* death note. But maybe I'm thinking about it from too much of a western perspective.

@beardalaxy @MoeBritannica influencing means it made a shitton of copycats and created new genres
@beardalaxy @MoeBritannica how many Gundam copycats vs how many isekais and Moe slice of lives are there now? Gundam lost influence.
@beardalaxy @MoeBritannica if all of these were still as influential as they once were. We'd have a lot better/more interesting animes now
@beardalaxy @MoeBritannica dragon ball still counts as we are still being flooded with mediocre shounen animes
The big three that made anime transform from a multifaceted pallete into one shade of Shonen shit.

@MoeBritannica also they're proving this dude right by community noting him over a joke lol

@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club @MoeBritannica@varishangout.net Don't watch Haruhi, it was so bad that they had to release Lucky Star afterward as an apology
