if trump starts badmouthing putin, there is no path to peace that isn't through several orders of magnitude more war. it's not worth it.

Do you not find it weird how negotiations have started? He's already willing to cede already taken land to Russia. I'm curious what 'cards' you think Putin has here, beyond continuing the war.
Putin is offering NOTHING to Ukraine nor the US. We keep hearing of 'comprimise' on Zelensky's part, yet what compromise is the Russian Federation offering? And what 'cards' does Putin hold beyond to keep throwing his own citizens into war in Eastern Ukraine?
