theres two main lines branches of the tetris family ttheres the traditional mainline ones where tetris 99 would fall, sometimes some gimmicks, and sega or wtv and thats like tgm and stuff and tthey have different mechanics though the tetris company is trying to unify them with licensing threats. its a lot of minro differences thtat make a huge difference but generally speaking the mainline ones are more casual, and when you go old enough back its just core mechanics, no holding pieces or moving pieces after dropped or shit

@maija @Wobbegong I like tetris, I have played tetris effect a lot. I had a 2.5 hour long game once lol I felt infinity.
