today on d&d, my players revived a dead god
>one pc gets scared by a ghost and ages 40 years, now 57
>only way the party can de-age him is pulling a card from the deck of many things
>other pc pulls card
>that pc levels up and gains a full deck of many more things
>aged pc pulls card from dommt
>true resurrection
>uses it to revive goddess of life who has been dead for 30 years
>goddess of life restores his age
>spirits can now move on to the afterlife
what a crazy sequence of events that was.
@Jens_Rasmussen they are overpowered, but they can also wreak havoc. they've gotten really lucky with their pulls.
i really like the random nature of ttrpgs though and i always welcome players doing crazy shit. i know my world and my story very well and i love seeing how players go about breaking it. super fun for me!
