I just realized i'm not watching any anime at the moment. Gotta choose something in the spirit of the season, I'm tossing between a few; I kinda want to rewatch Kill la Kill.

@bleedingphoenix yeah, i don't remember it too well since it was like one of the first anime available on netflix. i think i watched it in like 2011.

i remember it being extremely chill, though. it's also downright gorgeous. it's about a "exorcist" kind of guy who travels around and more or less cleanses spirits.

@beardalaxy @bleedingphoenix Mushishi is a very chill show and visually quite beautiful.

@LoliHat @bleedingphoenix i guess a good way for me to describe the feeling of it is like a PS1/SNES JRPG. it has the same kind of pull to it, especially with the backgrounds and the soundtrack. i haven't really seen anything quite like it. the closest is probably some of the ghibli films, but those are typically more childlike and whimsical and mushishi is more mature. not in a way of "ohhh blood and guts and swearing!" but just more contemplative/meditative, that sort of thing. it's slow but there's a lot to take in.
