@ooignignoktoo @mangeurdenuage i wonder if part of it isn't just inflation, but also how stuff is manufactured?
like, either better chips aren't being manufactured which is making sure the current ones stay the same price
OR
only better chips are being manufactured since they are in higher demand and we're always pushing the boundaries of tech, so it's more expensive to build the old ones
i know that chips are getting smaller and more efficient and all of that stuff, so i guess in theory they also use less material and maybe that has an effect on the price of the older chips.
no idea if that's the case but that's just my totally crackpot theory. it's probably mostly due to inflation and all that crap but i do wonder if the actual manufacturing side plays a role in it.
@ooignignoktoo @mangeurdenuage i bought a switch 2 because i'm a filthy nintendo fan, i love their games too much to not get it. mario kart world is going to eat up the rest of my year once i get it lol. but i totally understand anyone not wanting to get it, especially with so many other good games out there.
@ooignignoktoo @mangeurdenuage i played mario kart 8 DX for over 300 hours so yeah, i'm gonna love it :D
i am also super excited for kirby air riders and fast fusion. so yeah i think i'll be getting good value, personally speaking.
My nephew got MK8 Deluxe in a bundle with their switch and they play it a fair share and have fun with it though I think the machine was used for playing Fortnite *eww* more than anything.
