@coolboymew DoorDash et al. are known to hire illegal workers so I hope they perish. Couldn't care less about the 'what about me' mentality of those who put themselves as the centre of the universe.

@arcana

@thatbrickster @arcana @coolboymew I've seen them just straight up take other people's food before, whether that's on purpose or they are just dumb I don't really care
I never order from those things because something always goes wrong

@beardalaxy @thatbrickster @arcana it depends where you order, I have had very little troubles. Then again, I'm not in the middle of a huge city

The one time I knew I'd have issue, lo and behold, I got issues. Wendy's did a big discount and I was like "this is gonna be a mess" and lo and behold it was a mess

My name was literally on the wrong package, so it wasn't even on the driver. I got the one from another family, fucking nice. What's worse is that I couldn't eat any of that shit as I have allergies and the default sauce on that has eggs, so...

I expected them to fuck up the sauce, but no the entire order. At least I got a free side of fries

@coolboymew @arcana @thatbrickster any time I have ordered groceries they screw up something, like they see a picture of an apple so they just get any random apple that looks similar for instance. Or they get a different brand and flavor of bread because they didn't have the one I ordered, but they never asked if I wanted an alternative one.

I used to think it was just that they don't know how to speak English but that doesn't make any sense, of course the app would be in Spanish for them. They've gotta be either retarded or lazy.

I would say it's a first world problem to be upset that the bread you ordered wasn't the bread you got, but people had this figured out thousands of years ago.

@beardalaxy @arcana @thatbrickster I've heard of that and it's slightly better here. Wal-Mart does give you the option to turn of substitution on an individual item basis, and everytime I've had one happen, it overall made sense. But considering I have allergies, I would want to avoid surprise substitution. IIRC, the website even has a preferred substitution option. Of course, the meat you choose is never available somehow

But yeah, I've had some bullshit happen where the delivery was delayed 5-6 hours for no reasons. Fun! Also some of them only have the option of putting the groceries in reusable bags which is baffling and why I haven't ordered from the local one instead

But I only do this in Winter during/after bad storms

@coolboymew @arcana @thatbrickster I pay the extra money to Uber to the store and back so I know exactly what I'm getting lol.

I've had the time thing happen too lol, where it's delayed by several hours because reasons.

@beardalaxy @arcana @thatbrickster I've checked Uber groceries because I've heard of some insane video games deal and everytime the insane fee they put it (it's at least 30 mins away) makes it not worth it in the end
