Been called a bootlicker because I advocate for use of indicators and having appropriate/functional lights on cars.
I don't give a FUCK about the law behind it. I just recognize the 3,000lb slab of metal going down the road at 45+mph should indicate lane changes and turning as well as be visible in low-light and decreased visibility areas with the use of lights.

The fact that using your turn signal isn't second nature muscle memory you just do when changing lanes or turning is insane to me. What do you actually gain by not using your indicators? Your hand PASSES the stalk when turning the wheel.

@creamqueen I ride a scooter to work because I legally can't have a license and I'm still sure I could drive better than most of the retards on the road. I was going to make this exact same post last night because some dumbass at a 4 way was turning left without their blinker and took the turn sharp as hell so I nearly smashed into them. Just last week a big ass truck cut me off because the dude didn't signal for exiting a roundabout. I almost got smashed last year from a DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TRUCK because they were trying to cut traffic by going into the shoulder, once again without signaling.
@beardalaxy it costs 0 calories and requires 0 time to use an indicator because your hand literally passes by the stalk in the correct direction you're turning the wheel
