Okay, putting here for future consideration:
1) Killing Floor (80% off at $3.99) - I've been introduced to the Call of Duty Zombies series through WaW and Black Ops, but I've been wanting something that doesn't lean so hard into Easter Eggs. Killing Floor seems like a good one to check out for that same itch.
2) Hylics (67% off at $0.98) - I just finished 100%'ing Dream BBQ so I've been in the mood for surrealist media, and this looks right up that alley. It really helps that it is ninety-eight cents as well, and apparently a decent RPG. Not a bad deal.
3) Buckshot Roulette (40% off at $1.79) - I like the aesthetic of this one, too. I've never really played a game like this before, and I've only heard good things. Also a good price, and that video of Pekora playing is cute.
4) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (75% off at $2.49) - I realized yesterday I haven't played many stealth games, so might as well go for one of the best. And for $3? Not a bad price for what is highly regarded and iconic.
5) The Adventure of Ninomae Ina'nis (30% off at $1.39) - A shoot em' up? And it's themed around Ina? And it's less than two bucks? Sign me up!
6) Days Gone (50% off at $14.99) - This is the second zombie game on this list, and it's the most interesting of the (former) PlayStation exclusives. There's a lot of exploration, horde mechanics, and survival in a beautiful Oregon forest. It seems like an open world game that I can get behind.
honorable mentions:
Wobby Life at 33% - playful open world game
Impossible Creatures at 75% - goofy but creative RTS game
HYPER DEMON at 75% - crazy almost otherworldly FPS with 360-degree vision
Resident Evil 4 at 75% - can't beat the classics
