Asmongold comparing his Twitch and Kick revenue.
Absolutely insane disparity.

So roughly 5 to 1. Twitch is really screwing him.
@BroDrillard @beardalaxy Twitch is trying to make money through ads and subs. Kick is marketing campaign for online gambling. I would be willing to bet their independent financials are garbage.
@beardalaxy @BroDrillard Youtube is the only one turning a profit last I checked, and only fairly recently (like last 5 years or so). Difference is I don't think Kick cares about running a profit. People have shown an unwillingness to pay for entertainment, but they do pay to gamble. Their business model is to use streaming as a way to funnel guys to their casino website. As long as the revenue gained from this exceeds the cost of running the site it can be considered profitable to them. Twitch is run by Amazon which I believe has put more pressure on them to up their numbers.
@John_Darksoul @beardalaxy @BroDrillard and also if you're the challenger you'll do anything to "growth hack"
twitch payouts dropped over the years as well while ads increased
if kick were to really take of, that is become a real platform on it's own, they'd cut these payouts
