fancy. Is it worth it? You get the mario cart bundle?

@djsumdog@djsumdog.com the game is def an 80 dollar game, fun levels appropriate, totk runs at 60 fps 4k which is nice, pokémon violet upgrade was free, haven't tried yet. it was 500 vux, i suspect it'll be worth it in time

@jeff @djsumdog mkw is not an $80 game imo, it's a good price for the bundle though. it is extremely fun but the open world stuff and the intermission tracks get old super fast. it feels a little undercooked. i've already gone back to play mk8dx again instead.

both breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom run at 60fps 1440p internally, and that's only if you buy the switch 2 upgrades. otherwise they'll max out at 30fps 900p. basically the original games but extremely stable instead of dropping frames or resolution.

dk bananza has been the star of the show for me, it's a super awesome game. funny enough, i was super excited for mario kart and wasn't going to get bananza at all, but the banaza direct got me hyped for it and i'm glad i bought it. blows mario kart out of the water.

i'm fairly certain that nintendo made mario kart the launch/bundle game that was $80 instead of dk bananza solely because mk8dx was their highest selling standalone game ever.

@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club @djsumdog@djsumdog.com imo they are ai upscaling a lot of the game textures and no one would be able to tell.
