Can't find any articles about this. I never really use the GeForce tool, but it seems you can use it for driver updates without an nVidia account, so this is for people who use the account to backup game settings?

@djsumdog @ooignignoktoo I'm expecting there to be lots of posts like this with blatant misinfo to capitalize on the scare. It appears that it is an edited version of the message you get if you have an underage GeForce NOW account and try to play an 18+ game which has been the case for a while.
The Nvidia app, used to (optionally) download drivers and tweak graphic settings or use performance overlays and filters, doesn't even require an account to use.
