how does someone even begin the thought process of "i hate the police, but i'll never carry a gun" i don't fucking understand man

then you ask these people what they'll do in a situation where their life is on the line and they're like "someone else will do something" yeah what if there isn't anyone else who can do something but you "guess i'll just die then"

same thought process as the people who are like "i want communism but i don't trust the government" NIGGA WHAT

@beardalaxy I know someone who, saved his and his wife's life from armed robbery. Because he was packing heat.

Afterwards, he decided that the whole thing scared him so much he never carried a gun again.
@beardalaxy Yes, and yet, since that, I met two other people who did a similar thing.

Something is conditioning people, to find peace by making themselves vulnerable.
@hazlin @beardalaxy retarded lizard brain association, scary experience <-> item involved

I got hit by a car when I was 15 or so. I was riding my bike fast and someone turned into me, not having seen me coming down the sidewalk. I wasn't seriously injured but it was an intense experience. so, for a brief time after that (like a week) I felt mildly uncomfortable *riding in a car*. I thought at the time that it was a pretty stupid feeling because the accident had nothing to do with actually being inside a car, and I was much safer in a car than on my bike

people who aren't introspective are probably not going to get beyond "thing makes me feel bad"
@Marakus @deprecated_ii @beardalaxy @hazlin He's got a point. If you are dressed up as Hitler, everyone and their dog will notice, and be all like, "wow, that dude is dressed up as Hitler, I wish I had a quarter of the balls that guy does."
