My buddy was recommending I take creatine because it's pretty cheap for how much you get and is great for workouts. I was looking online to see if there have been any studies done with its effect on epilepsy/seizures just in case because you know, can never be too sure. Turns out, it's possible it works as an anticonvulsant... it can potentially *reduce* seizures or increase the threshold at which someone will have one. Can you fucking imagine if it actually works?
From what I can find, it seems that people who are already on epilepsy meds might find they are at higher risk for seizures using it, since it pushes the meds out of your system faster. Thankfully, I'm not on meds.
