It’s time for only our second-ever Tiebreaker match! Their regular tournament resulted in a perfect tie, so now these girls will get an extra hour to duke it out, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals.

Misty (Pokemon) VS Mikamo Neru (Blue Archive)

Given how their last match turned out, it’s no exaggeration to say that every vote counts, so make yourself heard!

Final score (barring some delayed votes)

Misty - 24 votes
Mikamo Neru - 33 votes
@beardalaxy The low vote counts definitely favor them since there are so many BA players on DRC after the Varis exodus, the more people repost the polls and the higher the vote totals, the better the bigger names will do. That's at least my preliminary take.
@ChristiJunior @beardalaxy Do we have any new challengers this year that aren't from VN or gatcha? I was thinking a lot earlier about how there seems to be a real drought of female characters that aren't diversity blobs from the western world. The only one I can think of on the spot would be Rosalina, and that's 18 years ago now.
@DemonSixOne @beardalaxy Pokemon Sun/Moon is a 2016 game, and that's where's Lana is from (though she got crushed by Rachel Alucard).

Bernadetta is reasonably new (2019), but she was also here last year. Gravity Rush is 2012 game, so Kat might actually be the girl who best fits your criteria and actually performed decently.

@ChristiJunior @DemonSixOne I tried to get Riju (2017) in but franchise capped and that went to BA instead, of course.

There are plenty of appealing girls in newer games though, even in the Pokémon ones.

@beardalaxy @DemonSixOne As much as I hate Sword/Shield, the girls were Quality. Gen 9 was a lot weaker, but Iono at least is a top-tier Pokegirl.
