The two characters, while technically distinct from each other, are too similar to count them apart. And besides, Termina is a magical projection, or dreamland, of Hyrule's emotions and fears. Cremia and Romani being a dream version of Malon makes them all one essential character.

@SuperSnekFriend @ChristiJunior @MeltingStar i've never heard that theory before. if it were a magical projection, why are there still so many unique characters and a wildly different world instead of it being the exact same as hyrule? i'm pretty confident that it exists as its own thing independent of anything going on in hyrule.

eiji aonuma referred to termina as basically a liminal space. a transitional spot like an airport.
