damn, i just found out that brent hinds, the former lead guitarist and vocalist in mastodon, passed away a couple months ago. rip dude, his vocals were fuckin awesome. 2025 is a horrible year for musicians passing away it seems...
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club dude wtf, I didn't know about this. He passed in August from a motorcycle accident. This is a horrible loss. Listened to Mastodon a lot years ago on a metal radio station.

@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club That was also the song that got me into them since it was massively popular in that metal radio station I mentioned at the time. Just awful he passed so young and right after the split. I'll never forget his vocals. Truly one of a kind.
