no one told me there's a complete Fatal Frame 2 undub now.

@beardalaxy Yeah I'm gonna play the og first just cause I figure there will be trade offs. It's hard to replicate what fixed camera angles did for these games but I'm sure they'll do cool things with the remake.

@DrRyanSkelton @beardalaxy I really enjoyed the first game when I played it years ago, even with the goof ass dub. Fun, tight labyrinthine level design, great fixed camera angles and a novel combat system with the camera that I had no real complaints about.
2 and 3 are largely more of the same as far as I can tell, 2 is generally regarded as the best for whatever that's worth and has gotten the most attention from Koei Tecmo/Team Ninja themselves, being ported to Xbox with some enhancements, remade with motion controls on wii, and now being remade once again. I was putting off playing 2 because I really didn't want to play another spooky j-horror game with a dub.
I played 3 a decent bit, the old undub had voice playback issues on PCSX2 specifically which I believe are PROBABLY fixed with the newer, entirely separate one? 3's frame narrative is really cool and haunting IMO it seems like a good game to me, i'll probably commit to a full playthrough once I get through 2.

@DrRyanSkelton @LittleTom fatal frame 2 and silent hill 2 are the best but you can't really go wrong with any fatal frame. Silent hill 1-3 are all great.
