@luithe @LoliHat Every mainline of a browser is a shitfest, just use forks of whatever you like. Brave itself is just the Google's Chromium shit but with a different branding and different ideas.

@Iffine @LoliHat @luithe brave is chromium but good, basically. Look, I can watch free movies on YouTube without ads with it, that's gotta count for something xD

@beardalaxy @LoliHat @luithe Yeah but I can also do that with any firefox fork and ublock origin. Brave is fine but I never really saw the appeal other than ease of setup.

@Iffine @LoliHat @luithe oh I didn't know if ublock was still working with Firefox or not, that's good at least.

I used waterfox for a while until brave came around, I just kind of prefer chromium and yeah it is super easy to set up. Don't really give a shit about the crypto stuff and the tor functionality is pretty pointless lol.

@beardalaxy @Iffine @LoliHat @luithe brave still has various bugs with changing default search engines to alt ones like kagi. Would rather use a Firefox fork or ungoogled chromium.
@Iffine @beardalaxy @luithe I've found Brave to be quicker and less buggy than other browsers, though I still use multiple browsers.

@LoliHat @Iffine @luithe I've been using edge a little bit for game testing and holy shit, that browser is insanely fast. Pages load so quickly, I wonder what they're doing differently. I haven't looked at how many resources it uses versus brave, but from part of what made me switch to brave to begin with was its performance. Ran faster and used less resources.

@beardalaxy @Iffine @luithe Only use edge if you have to deal with other MS crap like for work or something.

@beardalaxy @Iffine @LoliHat @luithe chrome is just fine, i use ublock lite and it works just like how ublock origin did.
