DONKEY KONG BANANZA!
This game was so incredibly fun and the character dynamic between smol Pauline and DK was so charming. I'm so glad I was able to get a Switch 2 and play this game, it really was so fun. If you have a Switch 2 (for some reason) and haven't played this game yet (for some reason) then you absolutely need to, I loved it so much.

@Rage_Grenade maybe one day i'll play e33. by all accounts it is insanely good. i just have to like, REALLY be motivated personally to play a game these days and that just hasn't hit me for e33.
@beardalaxy If you eventually do I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's nothing revolutionary for the jrpg genre but everything it does it really does exceptionally well.
@Rage_Grenade I'm playing ff9 for my JRPG fix at the moment, I think I would play ni no kuni next. Only after that would I get around to e33 probably! But who knows when that will happen lol.

@beardalaxy When I eventually get around to getting a Switch 2 DK is going to be my first pick up. Everything I've seen about it makes it a must buy.
My three favorite games this year were Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Expedition 33, and Lunar HD Remaster Collection.
