so.... it turns out almost 1/3 of oregon's registered voters were ineligible in some way and are now being scrapped. 800,000 registrations.
that's wild.

@anemone @lain @mischievoustomato @pettanko idk why they would have stopped doing it in 2017 after Trump was elected and only start doing it again after a lawsuit though that's a little sus. I have no idea if the 2020 election was rigged or not, I wouldn't be surprised either way, but there's still some weird shit 
@beardalaxy @anemone @lain @mischievoustomato I mean I’m sure all the lawsuits probably spurred it, but as for why it took so long I can believe that Oregon of all states makes purging the voter rolls a pain in the ass and it surely hasn’t helped that the guy in charge of it has been replaced almost every year since then.
