I have been having fun going back to the Gamecube Animal Crossing. It's way more inconvenient but it has so much charm. The music is the best

@Arkana I'm going to be doing a playthrough of it soon with the Japanese version because it has a hiragana-only mode and I've just finished all the hiragana exercises in duolingo!
There's an enhanced mod out there that brings over all the stuff from e+ to the NA release, might be worth checking out.
@beardalaxy I've been practicing my Japanese reading with pokemon yellow recently, I read really slow. I'll check that out! I should try the JP version too just to see how it is, and how much I'd be able to read
@beardalaxy Yeah that's why I picked pokemon yellow too. I played it before I could read properly and just did things through trial and error
