Stabilized video does not look good lol Either way, he should not have participated in organized obstruction of law enforcement while concealed carrying. Chances for agents to fuck up rise astronomically.

@irie i'm guessing what happened is that, with so many agents on one guy, the one who shot him thought that the one who pulled the gun out was actually the guy pulling it instead of the agent. then, when that other object drops, the shooter in a split second thought he had dropped the gun and was reaching for it so he kept shooting. really shitty situation.

it's easy to say he shouldn't have shot when you slow it down and stabilize it and view it in third person from just the right angle... but if you are in a scuffle with a guy who is fighting back and you see a gun, and you see a hand reach for that gun and take it out... man i'd probably fuckin shoot too. so many people say "they shouldn't be doing law enforcement if they can't handle the pressure" but the pressure is a LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION that nobody criticizing them has ever been in and hopefully will never have to be in.

anyone who conceal carries knows that literally the FIRST thing you tell an approaching officer is that you have a firearm on you. you shouldn't be out there getting in their way and then resisting arrest when they pile on you period, let alone with a gun. play stupid games, win stupid prizes. rip bozo.

@beardalaxy Yeah it's a tragedy that the victim could have easily avoided. Putting officers into this situation while concealed carrying is almost suicide-by-cop.

@irie I see some people also talking about how the gun the guy had is known to be pretty shitty and it can misfire easily. So there is a theory that while the gun was being removed from him it accidentally went off and that's what prompted the shooting. I don't know enough about guns to make that call though, honestly. It would be nice to actually get a good investigation on this for more information. Much nicer than just pure speculation and more manipulation.

@beardalaxy yeah. Just my interpretation but to me it seems all shots came from officers after gun on suspect (who was still resisting) was reported. I don't think officers need to gamble their lives in such a situation
