kittymaxxing i wonder why vinyl records are popular again but cassette tapes aren't when they're objectively more interesting to collect

@rosey they have their pros and cons in terms of audio quality, portability, durability, etc, but if the goal is just collection then I can totally see why having massive vinyls would look cooler than little cassettes.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club vinyls are definitely better if you're displaying like 2-4 faves but cassettes on a shelf are so much more interesting to look at, you can actually see what they are
