Something I've never thought of before, but am now thinking of because of RE9...

Does a building use stage rules to determine the direction of its wings, or absolute direction? The hospital in RE9 has east and west wings, and they are in their cardinal directions if you are facing the building. West wing on the left, east on the right. No indication if we are facing north when we are facing the building though.

If it's not based on absolute direction though, wouldn't that make no sense? Would you not base it off of the direction the building is facing? So that if you were inside the building facing the entrance, the west wing would be to your left instead?

From what I can tell, it's usually not based on the actual cardinal directions, and whether it is based on facing the building or the way the building is facing is completely arbitrary.

That bothers me lol.
