My brother is on there regularly. I have never stared into that void myself but I've... heard things.

I first entered Second Life in late 2010. It was 100% Tumblr 3D: everyone was a degenerate faggot, troon, "lesbian", furry, brony, scaly, schizo, sexual deviant to levels I never imagined possible, and every other mental illness you can look up. I kept my account open but by 2015 it was already dying off, figuratively and literally.

I used to play Neverwinter Nights. There were these things called 'social servers' which was basically code talk for erotic roleplaying.

I didn't mind it at the time, did a lot of progressively more and more extreme heinous garbage that probably poisoned my soul.

Eventually the number of dickgirls and furries on these servers reached a fever pitch and I had to bail in the late 2000s because as much of a degenerate as I was, and still am to some extent, that shit has always been disgusting to me.

Met up with a foid (possibly a dude but I think it was just a fat autistic chick) I used to play with on one of the servers in the late 2010s and she nagged me into installing Second Life.

Quickest run I've ever had with something. Maybe because of who invited me and what kind of things they were into.

It was quantifiably worse- without running into a single troon or furfag it managed to be many times over more vile than what I remembered on NWNs. This was with minimal exposure to troons and furfags.

That Eddie is saying VRchat is many times worse than Second Life is... FUCK... that's something I don't even want to see. I am fine just not knowing.

One of the NWNs servers I went to was overran with halfling and gnome characters.

You get one guess why. I never put it together until people started screen caping some of what was going on behind closed doors and everyone jumped servers.

I heard, but can't confirm, that the guy running that server was reported to the feds. Either way he shut it down a month later.
