How the fuck do you get the idea that MK8 is "Mario Kart's Melee" when Wii is right there? And it might have something to do with MK8 being the only Mario Kart game for 11 years, across two console generations...People played it a lot. Anyway great picture of my lovely daughter wives.

@LittleTom yeah mk wii is definitely mario kart's melee. or, at this point it might be more apt to say it is like brawl where there is a small but dedicated group of players still playing the fuck out of it and modding it to death.

The mods to Wii are mostly in the vein of adding content and QOL which I think serves as a testament to the quality of the core gameplay, as opposed to Brawl where the mods are rescuing a rather bad game by overhauling it into something of a proper sequel to Melee. In Brawl's case it's great because it's fairly easy to mod and everyone has some way to play (on a modded wii, wii u, or any toaster that can run dolphin)
