I didn't realize how much of mormonism is like a jewish skinwalking LARP until I started going down the mormon rabbit hole. Utah is basically Mormon Israel.
They always seemed pretty nice individually, but apparently when you're a non-mormon "gentile" (yeah that's literally what they call normal people lmao) living in a mormon-dominated area, sooner or later you're likely to get fucked over by the mormon cabal in some way that feels oddly reminiscent of the tribe's own games.
The best part about this saga is how one soyjak being denied his lego funkopops means this is 100% a Church operated scam that goes all the way to the top
It's a shitty situation all around but everyone is chomping at the bit to blame "da mormans" and at no point is someone stopping to ask an actual Mormon (member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) anything
Believe it or not the Church teaches that stealing is bad, and unlike our heebrew brethren there is no carve out for scamming the goycattle
My guess is that to the extent that anyone involved in this scandal is a member, they're either not practicing or they're just shitty people
@HAPPYPOTAMUS@Bunsen@Hoss they're taking it in a weird direction, but Mormons do frequently cover each other's asses. I'm ex Mormon, I've seen it quite a lot and it gets way more fucked up than this. Like, covering up child abuse.
