@beardalaxy @anhedonia @poopernova Probably a case of "we don't have a weaker machine to test this on." Maybe it could run on lower specs but why risk promising something they can't even test? 4GB of RAM is already pushing it, Steam's going to use enough overhead to slow down the machine at that point. The CPU is definitely an overstatement though.

@poopernova @beardalaxy It's wild to me that this is real, though I get why. EoSD doesn't like running on anything newer than Windows XP, nor a machine with more power than that. The fact ZUN is doing something like this though is definitely a first.

Yes, it represents the switch from the PC Engine-era to the Intel PC-era. It's basically the first true game of the standard canon. It made 2hu super popular on the otaku internet scene. It's characters remain the faces of 2hu for everyone.

It is also very important for introducing my wife.

@TrueMasterCole @beardalaxy @SuperSnekFriend EoSD is an acronym for Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, it's the 6th Touhou game and as Snek has pointed out, the first Touhou game for a Windows operating system. It also kind of reset the lore of Touhou up to that point, with a lot, but not all elements of the older games being brought back but changed.
